Principal finding

The strange laws that exist are control measures written after an accident by people who had seen it, and they are strange only to people who have not. The absurd laws do not exist. The College’s regulations are the same: each has a reason, and the reason is generally an accident.

Every law is quoted from its text on legislation.gov.uk or from the sources referenced; where a popular list and the statute disagree, the paper follows the statute. The College, its regulations and their reasons, and every finding are fiction. Nothing in the paper is legal advice, particularly to anyone carrying a plank.
